Alpena Wins Host Opportunity for Pure Michigan Social Media Workshop

Alpena is one of only 5 locations around Michigan to win a host opportunity for a high value Pure Michigan educational workshop open to anyone wishing to improve their social media and digital marketing strategy for the upcoming tourism season. Tourism related, or tourism-dependent businesses and organizations are encouraged to register. The event is led by major media company TwoSix Digital.

Pure Michigan is proud to present a social media learning opportunity to Michigan’s travel, tourism and hospitality industry this May. TwoSix Digital will present five social media tourism workshops across the state, offering a chance to learn what’s new and what’s next with social media and digital marketing; tips, tricks and best practices to promote your destination or business on social media; and, ways to collaborate with Pure Michigan’s award-winning social media presence. The schedule is as follows:

  • Alpena – May 12, 2016, from 8a-4p, at Alpena Community College’s Granum Theater
