Three sessions held in Room BTC 126. Photography instructor Tom Sherrill-Mix has been a professional photographer nearly all his adult life and has taught a variety of credit and non-credit photography classes at ACC for decades. Tom attended Academy of Arts in San Francisco and owns Third Eye Photography.

Become a better photographer and ensure those precious memories are worthy of years of smiles! Whether a newcomer to photography or just want to improve skills, this class provides insights, ideas, tricks and techniques to better photography from a professional. Learn camera functions, how to use and understand scene modes, basic photography principles including: shutter, ISO and aperture, and composition fundamentals through hands-on examples, indoors and out. Class visits a variety of outdoor venues upon which students and instructor agree during class. At conclusion, photos taken are viewed and discussed using computer lab as part of the learning process. NOTE: Please bring camera with charged batteries, manual, and memory card. Cost is $75.
