Audience members will enjoy sophisticated music and several lighter selections, many from the Great American Songbook, and all addressing the theme of Music, Life and Love. As a bonus, the June 12 performance will be preceded by the performances of talented area music students.
A festive afterglow reception will honor the student performers, recognize Julie Wood for her service as conductor since 2104, and welcome our incoming conductor, Pam Barkel of Presque Isle.
Seating for the concert is limited, so buying tickets in advance is highly recommended. Adult tickets are $10 and as always, children and students will be admitted free of charge.
Advance tickets may be obtained through the Thunder Bay Arts Council website, www.thunderbayarts.org at Neiman’s in Alpena and at the TBAC Office during office hours. Admission is also available to holders of 2015-16 TBArts Passes.
