While the continuing pandemic of Covid-19 has canceled the majority of the Alpena area 4th of July events, there are still a few that are scheduled to happen as planned. 
  • Friday, July 3rd – Fireworks over Long Lake at dusk
  • Saturday, July 4th – Alpena’s fireworks over Lake Huron at dusk
  • Saturday, July 4th – Harrisville’s fireworks at dusk
  • Saturday, July 4th – Racing at Onaway Speedway at noon, fireworks after dusk

If you attend one of these events, please respect social distancing guidelines of remaining 6 feet apart from others when possible and wear a mask if able.

We are looking forward to a beautiful and safe 4th of July this year!
