Downtown Flower Planting & Clean-up Day

Spring is here, and it’s time to add some color to Downtown Alpena! Join us for our annual Downtown Flower Planting & Clean-Up Day to help plant flowers and get downtown ready for summer.

Bring your gardening gloves and join us for a fun-filled day of planting flowers and beautifying downtown. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just eager to help out, everyone is welcome to participate!

Volunteers should meet in Culligan Plaza (corner of 2nd Ave. and Chisholm St) and then will be sent on their way with a flat of flowers (perennials and annuals) and directions where to plant.
