Thunder Bay Arts Council Featured Artists for May & June 2025--Augie and Peggy Matuzak

Thunder Bay Arts Council is excited to announce their Featured Artists for May and June 2025–Augie and Peggy Matuzak. A reception in their honor will take place Friday, May 9, 2025, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the TBA Gallery, 127 W Chisholm Street, Downtown Alpena. The reception is open to the public and free of charge.

Peggy and Augie are glass artists working with fused glass formed in a kiln. While Peggy has been doing fused glass work for over 30 years, Augie is a newcomer to the world of fused art. Both work out of their combined studio at their winter home in Surprise, AZ. Peggy works with traditional styles and forms using intricate detail and precision.
