Located on the corner of highway US 23 S. and Nicholson Hill Road, The legendary Wagon Wheel Bar has long been serving the village of Ossineke. Recently renovated by it’s new owners, Alpena natives Chef Ben Sylvester and his wife Michelle are keeping this American roadhouse alive! Chef Ben attended the Culinary ArtWagon Wheel- American Roadhouses program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. They take pride in keeping their menu authentic to roadhouse style, with great scratch-made variety. Ben’s favorite part about The Wagon Wheel are the restored vintage pizza ovens! Michelle’s favorite part about the Wagon Wheel is that the couple first met there many years ago. Stop on in and enjoy a unique homemade menu including specialty pizzas, pub burgers, fish tacos, fried chicken, and more!
