On Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, July 27th, you can catch “Rescuing Freighters and Busting Swamps,” the latest episode of Great Lakes Now from Detroit PBS. The episode will focus on the freighter Michipicoten, that recently took on water in Lake Superior, and a lawsuit over farming on wetlands.

This is a free event open to all.

The episode will play in the theater all weekend while the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center is open (8am-5pm). The center always has free admission and offers 10,000 square feet of exhibit space to explore!
