For us here in Alpena, no group embodies that more than our educators and school staff at Alpena Schools. Teachers, counselors, janitors, lunch workers, bus drivers, administrators — you carry so much on your shoulders. You don’t just teach; you inspire, protect, guide, and nurture. You keep the lights on, the halls clean, the students safe, and the doors open to possibility. None of us would be where we are today without your labor of love.

As former teachers ourselves, we know the long nights, the hard conversations, the endless giving of your energy and care. We also know the difference it makes in a young person’s life when an adult shows up with compassion, encouragement, and belief.
