It may be just a few hours long but it produces amazing results! Like all LivingWork’s core programs, it is evidence-based. safeTALK improves trainee skills and readiness, has no adverse effects, helps break down suicide stigma, and provides better skill retention than other connector programs. In 2022, it was estimated to have prevented 8,146 suicide attempts and impacted 58,185 interventions. It is available to everyone aged 15 years or older who has a willingness to be a part in preventing suicide.
