An Afternoon of Arias and Art Songs

Vivian Furtaw, a mezzo-soprano from Alpena and a recent graduate of Classical Voice from Interlochen Arts Academy, will perform a concert entitled “An Afternoon of Arias and Art Songs.”

The concert will include selections from Aaron Copland, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Giacomo Puccini, Georges Bizet, Gustav Mahler, and Rogers & Hammerstein. She will be accompanied by Julie Wood and Jean Martin Baker on piano.

The performance is sponsored by the Thunder Bay Arts Council and is free and open to the public. A short reception will follow the concert hosted by Trinity Episcopal Church’s Women’s Group.
