New Tutor Training

Make lasting change in 2025 by becoming an adult literacy tutor. No experience, no problem! Take the first step by signing up for our new tutor training by calling 989-356-6188 ext. 15 or emailing readprogram@alpenalibrary.org. New tutors can be trained in all subjects or be selective of which subject they will teach.

Jan. 23 Basic Literacy 2
Jan. 28 ESL (English as a Second Language)
Jan. 30 GED

You may attend any or all of the sessions free of charge.

4:30 – 6:30 PM in the Stillion Conference Room at 211 N 1st Ave, Alpena, MI 49707.

Light refreshments and materials will be provided.
