The Friends of the Alpena Farmers Market is proudly teaming up with Versiti for a Community Blood Drive during our Save-A-Life Saturday event on July 25th! Every single blood donation creates a ripple of hope and can save up to 3 lives. Come out, enjoy the market, and make a lifesaving difference in our community!

Blood Drive Hours: 9:00am – 1:30pm (Look for the pink Versiti Blood Bus!)

Save-A-Life Saturday Hours: 9:00am – 1:00pm

What to Expect at Save-A-Life Saturday

While you are here for the market and your blood donation, be sure to check out the incredible community resources available between 10:00am and 2:00pm:

• Free health screening and education (courtesy of MyMichigan Health)
• Lions Club fun kids activities and vision screening
• Hands-only CPR demonstrations and AED education
• General health and wellness activities
• Alpena Fire Department and Ambulance on site
• Live music to keep the energy high!

How to Donate Blood

The Versiti donation bus will be parked right on-site. Appointments are highly preferred to guarantee your spot, though walk-ins are welcome as the schedule allows!
