Create your own flip book, then make your own animated movie in this fun hands-on workshop with artist and teacher, Creig Hinshaw!

In creating a flip book students will learn the basic principals of animation. Then they will move on to stop-motion animation using a smartphone while designing and sculpting clay figures. This technique is known as Claymation (clay animation).

Claymation is an animation technique using movable clay characters and stop-motion recording to make an animated movie. Stop-Motion animation (also known as stop frame animation) is a film style in which objects are physically manipulated in small increments between individually photographed frames so that they will appear to exhibit independent motion or change when the series of frames is played back.
