Bath School Bombing of 1927

Historian George Robson of Petoskey presents a lecture on the Bath School Bombing of 1927, in collaboration with Special Collections. Often overshadowed in history, this was the first high-casualty school violence incident in the United States—long before Columbine. Robson’s connection to this tragic Michigan event is deeply personal: both of his parents were students at the school and survived the bombing.
