Juneteenth: Why Do We Celebrate?

Join Sandra Pilgrim-Lewis for an explanation of the historic moment when news of the Emancipation Proclamation was delivered to all of the USA.

The event will be held from 7:00-8:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church (119 W. Dunbar St., Alpena, MI 49707).

This event is free and open to the public.  Light refreshments will be provided.
