New Ownership, Fresh Vision
In late summer of 2025, Wayne & Karen McWilliams passed the torch on to new owners, Eric Peterson and Stephen Schaffer, who are bringing new energy and vision to this beloved Northern Michigan destination. You may remember Eric as the former owner/chef from The Fresh Palate in downtown Alpena. Now he is bringing the same energy to this lakeside retreat!

The restaurant is open Thursday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and for those looking to stay overnight and enjoy all that Long Lake has to offer, cabin reservations can be made online at The Parker House Cabin Reservations. The ice cream shop is open from 2 pm to 10 pm.
