(the top rated fishing show!) airs Saturdays, April 1st through May 6. Why is this show so special? Because it was filmed right here in the ALPENA area! So don’t miss your chance to see your Alpena: Sanctuary of the Great Lakes​ shine bright. If you don’t get the Outdoor Channel then stop by one of the official viewing party locations: Latitudes Tavern​ or The Fresh Palate​’s Nucleus Lounge. These businesses have graciously agreed to help Alpena celebrate every Saturday afternoon when new episodes air. Will these pro bass anglers unlock the secrets of our northern waters? 

 

Last week during the qualifying round 1 of the Challenge Select, we watched the pro bass anglers take on Grand Lake. It looked as though Brandon Palaniuk was going to conquer Grand Lake with the most pounds of bass…right up until the end when Keith Poche came in the lead to take 1st place for the day! Who will win the qualifying event this Saturday? Tune in and see!
