Go fishing
- Fishing is what we’re all about here in Alpena! We have plenty of water resources such as Lake Huron, the Thunder Bay River, Long Lake, Grand Lake, and Fletcher Pond. Stop by Clem’s Bait & Tackle for your fishing needs and don’t forget the license! If fishing isn’t in the cards for this week, then swap it out for walking the Mural Trail in downtown Alpena.
We hope you have a safe, fun, and memory-filled Spring Break here in Alpena! Whether you’re exploring the shoreline, spotting the first signs of spring, or just soaking up some well-earned time together, we’re so glad you chose to spend it here. Here’s to fresh air, new memories, and a week that feels just a little bit like magic.
