Lake season is every season if you live in northern Michigan! The Parker House on Long Lake is open year-round to accommodate the summer sun worshippers, the winter ice fishers, and everyone in between for the spring and autumn seasons.

If you haven’t been to The Parker House for some time, you’re in for quite a surprise! Owners, Wayne & Karen McWilliams have re-vamped the entire grounds from the cabins to the restaurant menu. Currently, there are 10 units on site available for rent. All 10 cabins have been completely renovated inside and out, along with new amenities such as a fish cleaning station closer to the lake. Next year the additions will continue with a pavilion plan in the works for weddings, reunions, etc. on the grounds.

The newly renovated Parker House dining area of the restaurant

The Parker House Restaurant, located centrally to the cabins, seats 40 people inside and 24 people outside (weather permitting). The McWilliams take pride in their new dinner menu, a homemade menu unique to the area with made from scratch items that are prepared when ordered. Patrons are allowed to bring their own beer or wine to the table, as Parker House has all the set-ups to accommodate to uncork or recork your bottles. If you saved room for dessert, grab an ice cream cone from the ice cream shop located just down the way from the dining room.

Currently, the Parker House restaurant is in the off-season and is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 am to 2 pm for breakfast and lunch only.

The Parker House delivers one of the best all-exclusive stays on Long Lake. Book your stay today for the winter views on the lake and ice fishing. ? Check out The Parker House Facebook page for updated photos of the renovated cabins!
